An amazing palace in England built to match the French pre-revolution royal palaces. Very well maintained with mainly original furniture and you get to see most of the (large) house.
There are extensive grounds but we didn't have hours and hours to explore.
It's about 90minutes drive from London so an easy day trip. Parking is quite a long way from the house, but they have a free shuttle bus (which visits the house and the stables)
